Take Note, London’s music conference for the next generation, has announced a dynamic schedule of artist interviews and content providing context to the Tobacco Dock Virtual opening lineups. Taking place from 17.00 BST on Friday 2nd & Saturday 3rd April ahead of the music broadcasts, this will form the official pre-event countdown to the Tobacco Dock Virtual Opening.
Hosted by BBC 1 Xtra and Rinse FM radio DJ Emerald, the Take Note coverage will include interviews with Chase & Status, Jamal Edwards, Skream, Mollie Collins, Inja, ALISHA, Helena Star & SYREETA. Talks will explore the importance of the club and music scene to culture and community, while considering some of the positive progression resulting from the recent pause and delving into the significance of the music industry infiltrating the worlds of gaming and virtual reality.
Take Note’s session will culminate with the launch of Take Note Radio, providing a platform for artists to spotlight some of their favourite rising talents. Friday’s show sees Emerald inviting Bailey Ibbs and Tim Reaper, followed by Saturdays show with Martha introducing Mon and WAAW.
